Glen Bruar Summer
Summer is by Dougal of Gargunnock (Glenaylmer x Kirsty of Glentaraig)out of Glen Bruar April (Sgt Major of Whitefield x Lorna of Invervack). She is the sweetest natured pony and very traditionally built. Summer has had four foals, all colts but last year unfortunately 'Archie' had to be put to sleep with a knee deformity.
She has bred Glen Bruar Haggis, Glen Bruar Dunvegan, Glen Bruar Beinn Losgarnach.
Summer had a lovely filly in 2008, Summer Thyme. She has been sold as a future Western Riding pony.
Summer is only 13.2 hh but for what she lacks in height, she makes up with her superb paces, great temperament and traditional conformation all of which are passed on to her foals.
Summer is in foal to Turin Hill Kyle more and we look forward to this 2009 baby!
