Hi Mairi, just a quick note to let u no how well Vegan went in his first wh class in the rain, he jumped clear then got champ. He also did dressage test got 66% highest score of the day!! He is jumping really well. His next show is Derby county just flat class, so wish me luck!! catch up soon.X

Mairi I have followed your show news with interest you have had a good season. Misty's half sister has just come second at our county show in the youngstock class and another of ours was fourth. In the in hand class for adult highlands we had a third and fourth and fifth with two mares and our stallon Rum. Misty's dad "Teddy" is due to start his out and about doing some dreaasge and cross country he is not into the serious stuff! Will keep in touch. Oh by the way Misty has a younger brother this year he is Hector of Sherrifmuir if you want to follow his career.Will soon have our web site up and running i hope but it does take time to get decent pics to use.

Hi Mairi - just read the news on your website. Congratulations! He is lovely. Hoping one day to get another one of your youngsters as I am so impressed with the first one (although not sure how the little man will feel about sharing!)

It is very exciting for us too that you have done so well at the highland. We of course cannot enjoy the scrutiny of real judges as down here we have M and M's only apart from our county show. It is therefore good to see we have got quite a nice filly in thea who incidently was named after Mrs Macfarlane who ran the keir stud where I worked for years. She taught me more than I can guess about horses in genereal and also the highlands whom she adored. Any way a big congrats on turning your ponies out so well you are a credit to your ponies. i just wanted to email to let you know how pleased i am with ferns foals.
The 2 year old has the most laid back nature i have had yet in a hipo.
she is also quite tall... i was wondering who the big pony is in her family??
she is already about 14 hh at 2 years....but the most gentle pony i have had. any way, also wanted to say i love your new fillies!!
also wondered if you were still interested in a foal off of fern as i have been warned by oh that i can t keep her foal this year as i have 3 others..... just wanted to know as i have had people asking about foals that i will be selling and i wanted to find out first from you if you were interested... before offering ferns baby to anyone ele..
i have also taken a new photo of ersn 3 year old.. she has turned out lovely too!.

I miss B/A and the ponies, though it seems so sanitised now, no more taking 20 ponies out for the day trek at one time!
I hope to be home again soon, and will get to see more people then, the business and study are taking up so much time that I have not had too much of a chance to plan the next two years yet, so when I know more, so will you and the rest of the UK mob.
I loved seeing your Mum and Dad, they have not changed much at all in the last twenty years!
