Lochlands Silver Chime
I purchased Chime from Kate Lawson + Willie Sinclair of Lochlands Highland Ponies. She is "my" kind of Highland with sparkle, good humour and a brain!
In 2008, Chime was successfully shown and like the other ponies, she did not come home without a rosette! She also had two Reserve Championships at the few shows we attended.
Chime is extremely unique in that she craves attention, she has a look at me now! attitude but at the same time she is gentle, kind and very generous where trainability is concerned.
2009 was a good year for Chime, with a 2nd prize at the Royal Highland and Champion Highland at Nairn Show going on to be Best Native and Reserve Supreme Champion.
Chime surpassed herself at the Royal Highland in 2010 and won her 3yo filly class. Her manners were impeccable and even during the parade, she kept calm - says so much about the Lochlands breeding lines.
She made Highland Champion at Nairn Show again.
Chime has been broken in by Jo Jack and is going forwards nicely although not being pushed.
I have plans for her and will share them soon.
